Asbury United Methodist Church

Asbury United Methodist • Order A Print

Another stunning work of religious architecture is the Asbury United Methodist Church. This Neo-Gothic Style structure was constructed in 1925 (education wing) and 1937 (sanctuary). Originally, the church was known as First Methodist. The spire’s design is known as "Fleche," the French word for arrow.  Architectural features include buttresses, pointed and round arches, finials, and tower.
