| Another Neo-Gothic Church, the current
structure was built in 1895. York Countys oldest Catholic
parish dates from 1776, and the first church at this site was
built in 1810. While this church is primarily in the Neo-Gothic
Style (including pinnacles, deeply recessed doorways, and
pointed arches), it also contains elements of
Richardonson
Romanesque architecture, evidenced by the heavy rough-cut stone
and shaped parapets
and ribbon of arched windows.
