The York Trust Company was organized in 1890. This building,
notable for its colossal Ionic
columns and rusticated
faηade,
is a Beaux Arts period structure, incorporating both
Neoclassical (Ionic columns, pediment) and
Beaux Arts Classicism
(rusticated stone) elements. The pediment includes a modillion
course.
