This beautiful structure was built in 1910 and designed by prominent architects J.A. and Reinhardt Dempwolf. The York Trust Company was organized in 1890. This building, notable for its colossal Ionic columns and rusticated faηade, is a Beaux Arts period structure, incorporating both Neoclassical (Ionic columns, pediment) and Beaux Arts Classicism (rusticated stone) elements. The pediment includes a modillion course.
